Optional board and account texts

Assembly is National Liberty Museum's board portal. A requested sign-in text contains one single-use link. Signing up for ongoing texts in your Alerts preferences allows urgent board meeting, RSVP, packet, signature, vote deadline and event notices, plus account security alerts. This program does not send marketing or fundraising texts.

Ongoing message frequency varies with board activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can use Assembly by email without consenting to texts. Provide a mobile number you control; update your profile if it changes.

You may also ask your board liaison to update your preferences or record your SMS opt-in. The liaison confirms your agreement to this program and records how you agreed, your request, the mobile number and who made the change. You receive a confirmation of the update.

Each new enrollment sends an immediate confirmation text with the program name, frequency, rate disclosure and HELP/STOP instructions. New enrollment is unavailable while SMS is disabled. Earlier consent saved without a confirmation requires a fresh opt-in when SMS becomes available.

Stop or restart texts

Reply STOP to the sender to stop all texts, including sign-in texts. Reply START to remove that block, then opt in again in Alerts or ask your liaison to record your renewed agreement. Staff cannot remove a STOP block. You can also turn off Text me in Alerts; this stops ongoing messages, while a new sign-in text requires a separate request and consent.

Reply HELP for help, email systems@libertymuseum.org, or contact your board liaison through Assembly help. Delivery depends on the carrier and your device; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Read the SMS privacy notice.

Help with this page

Choose whether to receive texts

Texts are optional. You can keep using Assembly by email.

This page contains text-message terms; there are no task controls to walk through.

  1. A sign-in text is separate

Agreeing to one requested sign-in text does not enroll you in ongoing board alerts.

  2. Opt in from Alerts

When enrollment is available, turn on Text me, read the consent statement, and save your preferences. A new enrollment sends a confirmation text.

  3. Stop whenever you need

Reply STOP to block texts, including sign-in texts. Reply START to remove the block, then opt in again in Alerts for ongoing messages. Reply HELP for help.

  4. Check your current status

Your profile shows SMS status for your current number. SMS stopped by member appears only while that number is blocked. After START it changes to SMS not enrolled, then SMS enrolled after a new opt-in and confirmation submission. Your liaison can also see this status.
